SMS/phone apps crash, even after iWorld
I've been using my iphone for the past few weeks on 1.1.2 in australia with an australian SIM without any problems. Soon i'll be going to New Zealand with a SIM card from Liechtenstein (great global roaming rates). I tested the Liechtenstein SIM card in australia, but i can't send/receive phone calls because the phone and SMS apps crash, even after setting the country to "Liechtenstein" in iWorld. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I think you should set the country to whatever country you're making calls from, in this case Australia.

ok, i've tried setting iWorld to both Australia and Liechtenstein, but the apps still crash
Are there other settings I have to change, other than iWorld ?

If you do not care about EDGE and Caller ID number/name matching then apply the patch described here and Phone/SMS will never crash again.

this is what I did on my iPhone. Set the region format to Australia (Settings => General => International). Set the country to Australia in iWorld followed by a reboot. The phone hasn't crashed since
iPhone week 46 FW 1.1.2 BL 4.6 unlocked with GUNLOCK => TurboSim is now in the trash
Carrier Optus Australia, everything just works!

ok, i modified the AppSupport file, as per the instructions timschuerewegen linked to, but i tried to install openSSH through both the installer and iNdependence (not at the same time) but no SSH icon appeared on the iPhone, even after restarting !! what's going on ?

OpenSSH doesn't appear on the springboard. To check if it's installed, check under "Uninstall" tab in the Installer. If it's there, then you have successfully installed it. Since it drains your battery, make sure you disable it after each use. Install "Services" for that.
