Use your sim for activation and for unlocking with anysim. Have pin disabled on the sim.

Hi, I unlocked a Phone today via AnySIM 1.2 without any SIM in the Phone.
After that I put in my Vodafone SIM, entered the Pin (I did not deactivate the Pin before) and it worked well (SMS, Calls...). Then I pulled the SIM out (I had yet to write some infos out of my old Phone) and put it back into the iPhone.
Now I cannot get beyond the Pin thing. It gives me the info that my SIM is not valid. I cant make calls nor anything else. Its still activated tho. Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks!

Try restore the iphone,(make sure you have the 1.02 firmware). You can do that without the SIM. The AnySim will stay/survice the restore, do not unlock it again.

Are you using a Mac? If so, don't use AnySim.
I used this guide yesterday. The unlocking process was a breeze.
A blonde walks into a computer store and asks for curtains. The sales rep asks "What do you need curtains for?". The blonde replies "I've got windows"

Yes, I am. Can I just restore it with 1.0.2 (as it is now) and re-unlock with the method you posted?

Is it currently at 1.0.2? If so, I don't think you will need to restore it but if you do, remember to hold SHIFT when you click RESTORE in iTunes and select FW 1.0.2 or else it will update to 1.1.1.

Yes, it is 1.0.2. So I can just re-unlock the phone with "your" method after the iphone already been unlocked with AnySIM, ya?
