Serial No: 7T742H8AWH8... is this 3.9 boot loader and unlockable?

hi mates... i have iphone 1.1.1 with serial number 7T742H8AWH8, and i know its week 42 but im not sure if all week 42 have bl 3.9... my boss said that this was used with any simcard but after he accedentally update it into 1.1.2.. now i downgrade it and now running on 1.1.1.. but im surprised after how many times of base band downgrading fails and decided to check the boot loader via WinSCP, it says boot loader is 4.6.... can any one explain this matter?.. i cant figure out if what happend after i tried to update it to 1.1.2...

most likely... week 42 and you cant check BL version over winscp... only way is bbupdater, also if you ONCE upgraded to higher version of BB restoring to lower version over shift+restore mode in itunes will ALLWAYS produce error since it cant restore baseband but no problem, resotore 1.1.1, jailbreak, oktoprep, update 1.1.2, jailbreak, anysim 1.2.1u in airplane mode, live happly ever after

Perfect candidate for 18 min unlocking using prefs and jailbreakme ! Need to get a good wifi connection that's all the requirements!

If it had the 1.1.1 out of the box it is with bootloader 3.9
If it had 1.1.2 out of the box its with bootloader 4.6
Thats it.
If your boss used some kind of hardware unlock (like turbosim) than it was with 1.1.2 out of the box and it had bootloader 4.6 but he downgraded it to 1.1.1 to jailbreak and activate and then used it. But as I read your boss just used any kind of sim and it worked (that means its software unlock) that means that it was 1.1.1 OTB.
Just do what Solor said: Restore to 1.1.1 (it will produce an error but thats normal)
Jailbreak and activate (jailbreakme.com)
install oktoprep
update (not restore but update) to 1.1.2
jailbreak with windows.bat (or jailbreak.jar)
install anysim1.2.1u
and thats it
