Well I dont believe that some OOB 112 came with the old bootloader. Show us some proof and I'll believe. Only some phones that had the wekk 48 or something and had the old firmware were with the old bootloader.

It is not a matter of believing or not: the imei codes are sensitive data which should not be given to anybody you don't know or trust. Period
If there is a way to find out the bootloader version by the imei (never heard of that, btw) and you know it, just post it here, otherwise your asking to his imei is fishy
It is almost like I had asked you: "please pm me your credit card number and the validation code, as I found a way to cast your horoscope from that"
and then "if you don't believe I can, fine"

How can you tell if its the new 4.6 bootlaoder from the IMEI?

What I can say: I unlocked about 10 1.1.1 iPhone. Last week I had three iPhone form week 41 an one from week 42 - all from one of the AppleStores in New York. And all (!) iPhones had firmware 1.1.2 and bootloader 4.6.

So jut looking at the production week is not enough

IF it says 4.6 the IT IS 4.6 and my bet is that it never had 1.1.1. and was never unlocked. If not, then it is not 4.6... or it was not used in the US.

1.1.1 and 1.1.2 both had the iTunes app. 1.0.2 doesn't but that is no proof of anything, you can go from 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 to 1.0.2.

i tried that procedure already... i can check the boot loader trough winscp by unloading the base band... what i have confused of is that the iphone serial number says its week 42 but how come that this iphone have boot loader version 4.6... im wondering if itunes restore is the responsible without ussing SHIFT RESTORE....
