    Question Help with: Scratching the testpoint (A17) and the +1.8V

    Hello!

    Is it possible to scratch the testpoint (A17) and the chip(+1.8V) and turn the iPhone on and run this command:
    cd/usr/bin
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    ienew

    Then run sleep 30; iunew
    Turn the iPhone around and connect the needels to the testpoints for 35 seconds?

    I want to know this because it would be so much easier.

    Best Regards Andbert

    Im not 100% sure I understand your question. Yes, you can scratch the tracing cover before you run ienew.

    Andbert,

    First try running the TP without scratching at all.. just firmly hold it on the track and on the capacitor... if you do need to scracth.. do it before you run the sleep command.. you scratch until you see a shiny spot.. then stop.. turn the phone and run the command sleep 30; iunew;

    have fun

    there's a little more to it than that. you need to read all the posts in this forum for a couple days before attempting it or you will end up with an expensive paperweight. don't say you weren't warned.
