    Your choice and nothing wrong with it. If it wasn't for the native german language settings in the iPhone i wouldn't have done the upgrade either.

    Thanks for the great guide Cathul. I'm going to check a few things before the upgrade to the 1.1.2 FW and then, I'll do it

    Just an update:
    If anySIM 1.2 crashes on 1.1.1 or 1.0.2 right after "Copying firmware...", you probably named the anySIM application incorrectly. The anySIM.app package needs to reside in iPhone's /Application directory and has to be called "anySIM.app" (case sensitive!)

    Many people might have unpacked and uploaded it as "anySIM12" or "anySIM12.app" - this won't work as there are fixed paths in the anySIM executable.

    im on 1.1.1 revirginised jailbreaked and unlocked phone.
    I read in another post that the battery life in 1.1.2 is longer...is this true?
    Because i dont have any other reason ( languages, etc) to upgrade to 1.1.2

    @thetechnogeek

    Hi,

    Where can I get the elite team's lockdown? I've done everything as you've described but now have the invalid sim message.

    Thanks

    Well, internationalization is probably thw biggest part of the update, but afaik these are some security fixes as well. Another point might be the fix for some text message problems.

    In the end it's still your decision. Of you're happy with your current installation there is no reason to upgrade.

    Yes, both: restarted (3 times) and killall lockdown...

    Went ahead and applied Anysim 1.2 from the french repo.

    It's Working.

    Just got tired of charging the battery everyday with 3 email accounts with wfi at work and wfi at home.
    Battery performance appears much improved.
