    Question Restore or Virginize

    My iphone is unlock, v1.1.1

I want to format the iphone like new. "Like format the computer then install new windows"

Which method should I use? Restore or Virginize?

    How can I do that?

    Thank you.

It depends, why do you want that ?

Restore will put the phone in jail again and deactivate. You will also loose all you data. But the phone will remain unlocked. If you restore to a newer version (1.1.2) the phone will be locked again.

Virginize makes your baseband virgin again, which means the phone will be locked and it'll look like OTB.

If it's a gift or something, just restore. If you wanna return to Apple, restore to 1.1.2 and create a good story

Some applications on my iphone didn't launch like before. I did relocated the dir app. to have more space. If I restore, does it delete all the 3rd party app. & all the files on iphone don't need? How can I do that?

I would like my iphone look like after unlock nothing else on it yet.

    Thank you.

Yes, restore will delete all 3rd party apps. Restore would be the best for you...
