restore and update to 1.0.2 without internet connection?

the 1.0.2 restore ipsw file is the 1.0.2 update file firmware right?

most instruction here on a virgin iphone to unlock it is to restore first then update to 1.0.2

so can i use this file to restore and update to 1.0.2 without the internet connection?

i just press "shift" then click the restore button right? it will restore then update also right?

yes it will restore and update in one go and no internet connection needed

im not sure i understand, cause i dont remember there being a particular "restore" button in itunes.

do you guys mean put the phone in recovery mode THEN do the shift and restore etc?

please elaborate, cause once the new FW rolls out, ill be stuck.
