Default Restore of a unlocked 1.1.2 (Oktoprep + AnySIM 1.2.1u), stays unlocked?

    Hi,

does a restore work? I mean, if I want to do a normal firrmware restore of 1.1.2 out of iTunes, can I afterwords just jailbreak it with the jailbreak.jar for 1.1.2, does it stay simlock free?

To jailbreak it you will need to run Oktoprep. You must restore down to 1.1.1 using DFU mode, jailbreak, Oktoprep, and re-upgrade to 1.1.2. The unlock will still be there.

yup, restore in itunes doesn't touch the baseband, so you will remain unlocked, but jailbreaking will be a pain

just restore to 1.1.1, activate, oktoprep, update to 1.1.2, ti will remain unlocked,

i already did, it will return error after restore and update, but it is normal, if you are on a mac, use independence 1.3 beta 2 to put your iphone out of the DFU mode, just as when you did the upgrade before
