Default restore 1.1.1 with remaining unlock?

    Hi folks!

I wanted to restore my iPhone to 1.1.1 (original fw: 1.1.1. then d/g to 1.0.2 then revirginized then u/g 1.1.1).

I had several apps that made my iPhone slower and slower.

But the restore mechanism with iTunes ended up with the following:

Everything seemed fine, but when I jailbreaked and activated the iPhone with the jailbreakme.com method, my iPhone remained unlocked (no need to use anySim). Furthermore, the iPhone kept some settings.

But this did not solve my problems: the iPhone is still slow and hanging from time to time.

The question is now: HOW can I restore the iPhone to 1.1.1 WITHOUT keeping my settings?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I would think restore to 1.02 , this should probably erase most stuff and then upgrade back to 1.1.1 this would keep ur phone unlocked. and should solve ur purpose

Hmmm.. iTunes tells me "I can't restore this iPhone. An unknown error occurred."
