The DevTeam method for fixing the WiFi problem does not use a static MAC address and therefore conforms to the IEEE 802 standards.

NB: The tool will be incorporated into PwnageTool/BootNeuter as soon as we get some sleep!"

    Anyone tried it already?
Here are some guides for doing the repair easily, using iLiberty+

    1. Restore your iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes.
    2. Download the old iLibertyX from here: iLibertyX 1.0
    3. Start iLibertyX
    4. Select this on the "Standard"-Page:

    5. Add my payload.tar which you could get from here as custom payload:

    6. Click on "Free my iPhone"

    when iLibertyX is done:
    1. start BootNeuter on your iPhone and flash a fakeblank version
    2. start Terminal on your iPhone and type "su -" to gain root-rights (the password is alpine)
    3. type:
    Code:
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    killall -9 CommCenter
    cd /usr/bin
    chmod +x swifi
    ./swifi
    4. you are done.
    Very good. Thx.

Now I have a new problem. WLAN is working, I have very good reception in my home network. But it can't connect to it. Well, it does connect but I can't get any internet connection (no reception symbol on top). It's the same when I'm directly next to the router.

There seems to be a problem with the network and the iPhone, also the iPhone IS connected and the network definetly works.

    Any suggestions or help?

    Thx.

Thank you for the fast and positive answer. Works now.

And of course, thank you for saving my life with this wifi fix. Well, at least my life with the iphone which was unusable till this fix. And for all the other work etc.

One question: Is there any explanation for the very fast battery drain because of the grey wifi/BT problem? Just want to know...

    Thx.

    Default Awesome! Great work

This fixed the Grayed out Wifi and all 0's for bluetooth. The phone had the invalid collab data issue as well and everything seems to be working great.

Thanks A lot fheusel!! Great payload. I wasn't able to get terminal up on the iPhone because iFuntastic couldn't chmod it.

The IBooter commands certainly made the difference in fixing my problem.
I just tried that, including using iBooter to reset the wifi addr but still no luck

Just tried all this, but the iPhone still can't see my Airport Extreme Wifi Network !

I have the phone, SMS, edge fonctions. But still no luck with Wi-Fi.
