I started with BL 3.9 unlocked with iPlus2.0b and the options I chose on BootNeuter are:
BL: 4.6
Neuter: ON
FakeBlank: OFF
Unlock: ON
And the result was:
Error: The bootloader flash succeeded but baseband flash failed (Error 2).
Any thoughts?
edit: I am guessing it's because it was patched by iplus before?

There is nothing to do with wifi.. probably you assume that because this is a wifi thread my mistake.

Note that sometimes it's not enough to do "launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist" ... sometimes you need to follow that by "killall -9 CommCenter" to make sure it's not hanging around.
I get the 0xffffffff error runing swifi
I killed the CommCenter with killall
runing again swifi i get:
Nothing to fix!
reboot the iPhone but still WIFI GRAYED !!
help !!
Thanks

For those who don't know how to install swifi or Mobile Terminal without WiFi i've build a custom payload for iLibertyX. Grab it here: http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~fahe/iphone/payload.tar
Just add these file in iLibertyX as custom payload. It will install:
- BSD Subsystem
- Mobile Terminal
- swifi into /usr/bin/
- BootNeuterer for use with 1.1.4

"Nothing to fix" means that both your backup and active wifi calibration tables were valid. If you can make cell calls and yet your wifi is grey and swifi reports "Nothing to fix", you very likely have an actual hardware problem.

It worked! Kinda...
My BB NVRAM got spontaneously corrupted one day (literally spontaneously! i was walking down the street, i rebooted my iPhone and the next thing i know, IMEI, BT and WiFi were bricked!). My phone was previously screwed by IPSF, but i don't think that had anything to do with it (except a dodgy seczone) and, besides, it worked perfectly for months before that.
Anyway, i gave swifi a go today and lo and behold - my MAC addresses are back, WiFi and BT aren't greyed out anymore, but...
... but i can't connect to any WiFi AP's
I can see them listed, i can tap on them, the iPhone connects, the AP sees the iPhone, but no data traffic's coming through and there's no WiFi icon in the status bar.
Any ideas?

OK. I get my Wifi back, but i cant get ipaddress from DHCP and even i manually set the ipaddress. it will lose after i press home button.
Below are the steps:
# launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
# killall -9 CommCenter
#chmod 755 swifi
# swifi
wifi fixer
by MuscleNerd, gray, and the iPhone Dev Team
Actions taken:
Backup table checksum was corrected
Active table was restored from backup
What should i do next?
