I have scored refurbs twice in the past 2 weeks. You just have to be lucky to catch them. They sell out pretty fast.

I ordered it yesterday, however it was still night in the U.S. (I'm in Europe). I guess you looked too late... I must confess I got lucky on that one!
same here, mine is week 42, maybe there's still hope

djfuzz: not regulary but they have some at random times. I keep checking and found the 4gb twice in the last week, and they sell out in hours.

You guys are killing me. Ever since I saw this thread I've been refreshing the refurbished page every 15 minutes. It's not going to happen is it?!

got my refurbished 4BG iphone today. Firmware 1.1.1 with old bootloader. Unlocked and using with t-mobile. Couldn't be happier...
I did it for personal use, and have been debating since they came out if I should do it and finally decided to do it.
Looks like I pulled the trigger in the last millisecond.
As for the unlock, everything went smooth and was done in less than 15 min, even tho this is the first one that I unlocked.

Coxed, if you dont mind, what is the first 5 letters/numbers of your serial? I think the refurb game may be over for now. Ordered some a couple of days back and checked their serials online earlier: Week 45.....Ouch! I wont know until i receive them on Monday if it is just a case of a new serial issued to an old refurb with an old bootloader or if its a new serial with the new bootloader loaded on a refurb.

I think you will, I doubt that they upgraded the refurbished iphones. Mine was shipped a week after the 1.2 update with 1.1.
Let us know when you get them, since that is the only way to get a unlockable iphone for now w/o paying a premium on ebay. Could make a nice xmas girf for some family members.
When did you score the refurbs? I guess I'm not checking often enough

Did you receive yours yet? can you confirm bootloader or fw version? I also am waiting for a refurb that shows a week 45 serial now and hoping it is still 1.1.1..as I have 2 1.1.2 8gb paperweights on my desk now.
