This is my data:
- Modell: Refurbished 4GB (that had issues with TurboSIM!)
- Firmware: 1.1.2
- Baseband: 4.02.13_G
- Week: 45
- Bootloader: BOOT03.09_M3S2
- Carrier: T-Mobile thru reseller Callmobile (no network id or carrier name being transmitted and shown between GSM bars and WLan bars)
- Country: Germany
01. Downgrade to 1.1.1 and prep the iPhone
01.1 do jailbreak (*#307# http://jailbreakme.com and so on)
01.2 install bsd subsystem
01.3 install openssh
02. Do the unlock
02.1 download anySIM.app (unofficial version) http://c_o_d_e.g_o_o_g_l_e.com/p/iphone-elite/ (remove the underlines from the link!!!)
02.2 copy anySIM.app to phone as written on iphone-elite pages (use cyberduck or winscp - don't wonder: first login takes a while since rsa keypair is just being generated!)
02.3 change contents of anySIM.app folder to executable (means 755)
02.4 shutdown iphone
02.5 insert your Sim Card and remove AT&T card
02.6 start iPhone
02.7 after reboot you find anySIM logo right besides the installer logo: run this and
02.8 initiate the unlock (this takes a while) - phone will be unlocked but you won't have any GSM bars on the upper left display - this comes because 04.02.13_G is NOT compatible with firmware 1.1.1
03. Get back to 1.1.2
03.1 go to installer again and install Oktoprep (find it under category Tweaks 1.1.1)
03.2 plug iPhone to iTunes
03.3 iTunes will recommend to upgrade to 1.1.2: do that (wait again forever during upgrade process)
03.4 after upgrade: shutdown iTunes
03.5 download jailbreak for 1.1.2 here: http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/site/112jb.html
03.6 run that jailbreak.jar (you need Java installed, since this is a Java binary) and wait forever again
03.7 iPhone will reboot two or three times and will be activated then
03.8 the GSM bars in upper left of the screen will appear and you will be connected to your carrier
I hope this helps someone. Kind regards to everybody who helps and especially to the Dev Team!!!
x!
