I read on a website a story about the iPhone " More secret iPhone codes " on TUAW and a comment that nobody answered

if nokia codes are working, has anyone tried the various nokia unlocking calculators to generate unlock codes?

I mean if it was possible everybody would know about it but why should it not work?
I mean i know he is saying nokia but the do have the same codes.

first of all, as far i know there are no unlock codes for actual nokia cell phones.
But even if there are some, why should they be the same as for iphone? Most of the "secret codes" in the list you've linked are common cell phone codes (like the one for IMEI) or simply provider codes. These have nothing to do with an unlock.
