If I have an iPhone with TurboSim on it, working good. and I choose to Unlock with Geos method, should there be any problem? (1.1.2 OTB)

I was in your position in the morning. I tried to unlock using geohot method, but i messed up when entering commands in terminal. this messed up my iphone, and i restored to 1.1.1: and i got the message repair needed, cannot make or receive calls etc...
so basically bricked.
Since this phone was less than 2 weeks old, i took it back to carphonewarehouse, and got it replaced.

I have now used the iclarified's method through installer, and it works fine. so, its up 2 u really.

i am now on 1.1.2, wold like to upgrade fully to 1.1.3, but not sure if its safe.

my question is more oriented at if there would be any problems with the Software-Unlock because of the TurboSim used before. but thanks anyways dude, hope you can solve your problem. cheers.

no juan, not at all... turbo sim does NOTHING to ur phone but spoof the carier search to think the simcard is a at&t card. it doesn't do anything else.

im currently using a hypercard and i am pulling it out and running the unlock as we speak.
