[Question][1.1.2-1.1.4]iPhone Sim Card
Simple question, but do you have to use the Sim card that was supplied with the iPhone or can a different card (from the same or other authorised carrier be used)?
Question relates to purchasing iphone in the US with AT&T card much cheaper that Europe, for us with approved EU carriers.
**Can a mod move please, meant to post in General Thread**

If your running Iplus you can use any sim but you have to unlock if you plan to use a diffrent sim than the one supplied beacuse I tried with my old Cingular sim and it didnt work even tho att owns cingular

Thanks for that, but the question I am trying to answer is;
if you purchase an iphone in the States (much cheaper then europe (130 less)), then get a sim card from the official authorised carriers in europe can it be activated legit!
Have never seen this answered anywhere
