got a iphone 2g on 1.1.4, ziphone erased baseband and bl, now what do i do? i got the repair needed message. need advice on what to do to fix this so i can make calls with it again? please someone help!!! thanks

do you get the 1011 error at the end of a fw restore in itunes?
and what happens when u run boot neuter on the iphone?

Try KiPhone it may help. Cant hurt. This is the tool al lot of people including myself used to downgrade your baseband when downgrading from 2.0 to 1.1.4 and rewriting the baseband. May work to rewrite for you.

I'm not sure if it checks if one is current or not.

zif it works use iLiberty+ older version you should be OK.

Restore to 2.1
If u get any error just tell us.
If u dont.

From 1.1.4 doing a DFU restore to 2.1 firmware will hopefully reinstall a fresh working baseband again.

I am having the same problem, I think I might have a currupt bootloader and currupt baseband. I cant restore to any firmware without the 1011 error. After install, Im stuck in recovery mode with the itune and usb scren.

I restore to 1.1.4 in DFU mode then I use ZiPhone 3.0 to kick it in normal mode and activate it. Then I use iLiberty+ to jailbreak it and to get bootneuter and bbinfo on the iPhone. I now have a iPhone with no service, no wifi, no bluetooth, no sound and no viberate. On bbinfo it just says "Pinging baseband..." and get a timeout error and everything is unknown exept the model and the serial. On bootneuter it just Freezes on "Determining current settings..." and it shows I have bootloader 4.6 .

I tried other method like ifix1011 and kiphone and none of them worked. and I also cant use the "downgrade bootloader from 4.6 to3.9fb" from iLiberty+ payload, it just freezes. I also tryed the baseband downgrader it also didnt work.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS ERROR!!! ITS KILLING ME!!
