Default Problem w/Jailbreaking 1.1.2 Please Help!

    Hey Guys,

I had a fully unlocked 1.1.1, ran Oktoprep before updating to 1.1.2

Updated to 1.1.2 When trying to jealbreak using the Jailbreak 1.1.2 java method - I get the following message: This utility can only be used if you have already run OktoPrep before updating to 1.1.2"

The only possible reason I can think of is that I tried to run Carnaval in 1.1.1 (with no luck) and then used AppSnap to jealbreak. Also, when I connected to Itunes to update to 1.1.2, I have noticed that the capacity of my Iphone is shown as 300MB
Could Carnaval issue be the problem that's causing issues now with jailbreaking in 1.1.2?

Any suggestions? Should I downgrade back to 1.1.1?

    Thanks, Gene K

    Hi
I have done the process a few times without ever having the 300mb prob.. I use iDemocrazy 2 for the jailbreak in 1.1.2. Maybe if the above fix doesn't work start over and try iDemocrazy 2. ( It needs Java Installed on PC to work )

If you want to start over do this:

    1) Use itunes to restore back to firmware 1.1.1 (then Open iDemocrazy run the App Tap to get you on the activation screen)
"""You will then have a 1.1.1 phone with 04.02.13_G baseband"""

    2) jailbreak with 307 jailbreakme.com

    3) Add http://i.unlock.no/ as a source

    4) use the BB downgrader from the source u added ( Its very very Important to turn auto lock to never)

    5) then "restore" in itunes to fireware 1.1.1 so the the Baseband changes to 04.01.13_G again

You will then be on a totally clean 1.1.1 iphone to start over again with oktoprep etc
