Problem with Valid ATT sim card and "No Service"
For simplicity's sake I have posted my problem in a new thread to avoid any confusion.
I have followed the tutorials for my OTB 1.1.2 ibriked and reverted to 1.1.1 (3A109a) with firmware 04.02.13_G. I am able to get into the phone and make my way around but the phone will not work with any valid ATT sim cards. I have tried 3 different sim cards all with the same results.
The phone remains in the "no service" status.
I saw a potential solution here http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...hlight=service
However that appears to be for previous versions of the phone. Any help would be welcomed.

Try upgrading to 1.1.2 then using the 1.1.2 jaibreak and then use your card. Worked with mine.
I read somewhere that you can't swap cards. If you do then you have to re-downgrade...... I don't know if that is true or not but maybe something like that happened

this phone was a 1.1.2 out of the box with 04.02.13_G the only way i could jailbreak it was to downgrade it to 1.1.1 this is a week 45 iphone

that is what I have and that is what I did. Downgrade to 1.1.1 and jailbreak, oktoprep then upgrade to 1.1.2. Then use downloaded 1.1.2 jailbreak. Windows run windows.bat. Done.
That worked for me. OOB 1.1.2 with 04.02.13_G. Now using old AT&T sim.
