Default Problem restoring to 1.1.3 after Geo hack problem

I've got 1.1.2 OOB that had the new 1.1.3 baseband. My phone messed up while doing the SW hack for bootloader 4.6 and now it just says "Repair needed".

This i what I've tried so far:
    1. Restore to 1.1.3 via DFU mode but iTunes throws unknown error 1012.
    2. Restore to 1.1.3 via USB cabel screen but iTunes but iTunes throws 1012 again.

So basically I'm out of ideas. Everybody says restoring to 1.1.3 fixes the baseband so I don't understand why this problem isn't going away.

Same problem here, guess we have to wait for 1.1.4 to come out.. Hope someone finds a solution earlier though

I also have the same problem. Just can't get a restore which repairs the baseband. This being a 1.1.2 OTB which I upgraded to 1.1.3 after losing wifi in a failed attempt at software unlock. Now stuck with a 1.1.3 iPhone with no baseband. Have tried using both iTunes 7.5 and 7.6 but get the (1012) error message.

There must be some way of fixing this without using the 'comm board trick' which requires taking two iPhones apart.

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllp!

    Thanks in advance guys.

Thanks for your thoughts, but this problem means that we cannot use wifi or even jailbreak since we cannot even downgrade the firmware either. Get iTunes error (1) or (1011) when attempting downgrade.

    Keep the ideas coming.

Exactly the problem I have too. and in 1.1.3 I can start it but not activate as the system can't see my legit contract sim as the basband is not there.

Use itunes 7.6 restore back to 1.1.3 and then downgrade to 1.1.1 (twice) between each restore use ibrickr to boot the phone after the first try the screen will turn green and you will restore to 1.1.1 the second time and then boot using ibrickr again and this time you should be able to jailbreak and then follow tut again and should be good

I got the same error and confirmed with this method

fancypp: It only works if you have broken 04.02.13 baseband - then 1.1.3 overwrites it with 04.03.13. The problem is that we have broken 04.03.13 baseband and 1.1.3 fw just won't help (for me)..
