problem jailbreaking from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 PLEASE HELP!
Hi guys, I recently started trying to upgrade my 1.0.2 phone to 1.1.1. and I already restored it to 1.1.1 through itunes and all that, and I followed the guide for jailbreaking step-by-step, (http://modmyifone.com/wiki/index.php...Phone_to_1.1.1) and whenever I go to the install appsnap part, it i guess loads the page, and just instantly takes me back to the main screen where it tells me to activate iphone and please connect to itunes. And for some reason, it's not letting me try the whole process again, because it's saying I have no signal. What can I do? Please help!
I will paypal anyone 20 dollars if they help me with this!

well appsnap is supposed to crash safari and return you to the activationscreen.. when there you should wait for the reboots.. so if it didn't jailbreak.. try again? (maybe reboot phone first?)
20 bucks for me? kewl!

For whatever reason, you have to run the jailbreakme.com exploit several times. Just keep trying. If safari crashes and the phone does not reboot, slide the emergency dialer, and press 0 and go through the process to get to the contacts. Just keep doing it. It took me while over 10 times.

@crashingsounds,
if you're at 1.1.1 now. the best and easiest and most reliable way to jailbreak+activate+unlock is to use CARNAVAL 0.8 (if you're on the PC). In 10 minutes, you will be done.
ps: the $20 should go to DEV TEAM donation.
