Hi guys,
I bought a brand new Iphone about 1 month ago and I followed the guide made by vomer ( this one http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11833 ).
The phone was successfully unlocked and working with other Sims cards.

Now let's go to the problem..
Everything was working fine, I got internet,youtube,mail etc working.
The problem is that after I run different applications like mail,safari,sms, the phone gets stuck and crashes most of the times, going back to the "home" screen... and I have to say, it's really annoying, especially if I'm browsing some importants pages or reading a email... I believe this thing happened after a week or so that I unlocked my phone and installed few programs like Apollo (for IMs), Customize,etc.
It also seems that the phone is a bit slower to open applications than before..

Any idea what it could be or how to solve this?

Not sure what caused this problem, but I am pretty sure a restore should fix...
I know restore its a pain in the ass, so I suggest you to copy your applications and everything you want to your pc, so you restore, jailbreakme.com and just copy everything again...

sounds pretty weird to me that the phone stop working correctly after a week... I havent done anything weird with it, just installed some applications and that's all...

- - if I will decide to re-virginze it, do you think i should update the firmware to 1.1.2? and can I save my emails and text messages?

Turn off "dim wallpaper" in SMBPrefs.

Ok, just did it. Thank you for the links, i read all the posts...it seems like it worked for some, and didnt work for others... I'll try to use my phone as much as possible now and see if it still crashes.

Had the same problem with mine.. it was virtually unusable...

I ended up re-installing 1.0.2 and now it works wonderfully. A restore did not help and at least i now have a workable and quite stable phone...
