    Default Problem with *#307# method

For the record I searched the forum and found nothing on this topic so here I go...

I had a bricked 1.0.2 iPhone after an update to 1.1.1 and re-unlocked and re-virginized it, finally upgdating it to 1.1.1, but I am unable to use the *#307# method to get to Safari and unlock my iPhone.

When I dial the *#307# I only get numbers and am unable to see any buttons that say "answer" or "dismiss" or "hold".

Has anyone had this problem? Any solutions? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    -T

from memory its will still work. dial 1 and call while your phone is ringing and you will then get an answer option.

There are some threads here discussing that issue so do a quick search

Are you trying from a freshly restored 1.1.1?
Reboot the phone and try again.

after calling the *#307# it calls you back.
While it's ringing you have to delete the *#307# in the top part of your display and dial 0 and than call it. After that press Answer -> Hold -> Decline..
    There you go..

just dovetailing to what Azzo said. Once you do this, and if you hit the home key, you will be back at the slide for emergency call screen.
If you decide you want to go back into the phone, you don't have to start the whole sequence again. Instead you just hit 0, call, answer, hold, then decline.

Gotta give it to the person who came up with this. Awsome

It happened to me once only, and I didnt know what to do... I dont remember exactly what I did, but i did something (answer? decline? cant recall really), and it gave me a message something along the lines of "phone unlocked" or whatever, and took me to springboard... I didnt have to do any of the 0 dial, answer, hold, decline stuff anymore and was able to jailbreak fine... hitting the home button to go from prefs to safari just took me to springboard...

the other 10 or so phones I did, all worked as per the guides...

It seems now that I'm having a problem with anySIM... I jailbroke the phone and did all the steps to unlock with anySIM. Everything went smoothly and I had no errors. Yet somehow the phone still says "Incorrect SIM". Any ideas?
