In theory, hardware unlock should work with any version I believe.

Can anyone second that will this hardware unlock work on OTB 1.1.2????? PLEASE NEED TO KNOW... I have 3 phones and i need the money....

This is for a PRE 1.1.1 iphone. it is from BEFORE a software unlock was available EVER... Ancient History...

Calm down, I think they know that. The information that ISN'T available is whether or not this can be adapted for 1.1.2 OOTB iPhones. According to geohot's blog there is a hardware exploit that can be taken advantage of in the new bootloader so theoretically yes it is possible but will probably require updated files etc.

Simply put... This will NOT work. This is a hardware bypass of jtag... To he unlock 1.1.2 you need to remove a EEPROM/ic completely, flash it with the old bootloader, then re attach it to the board. It requires expensive tools, and a steady hand... Not to mention a shitload of knowledge. Once again... This has been posted twice. Our best bet is to find someone who is a crypto expert to brute the boot loader.
