Unlocked 1.1.1, stick in my sim card... not a valid SIM? help!!!

ok here is the deal. i had my iPhone for a while now, it has been unlocked and i have been making phone calls and all that jazz with Rogers wireles. then today i wanted to upgrade.
i downloaded 1.1.2 then downgraded to 1.1.1
jail breaked it and all that by dialing *#307# ect
used any sim to unlock it
but i still cant use the phone and all that

Is there one more thing i have to do?

ps this happened before but i cant remember what i did to get it to work lol

pss dont get wireless interent with Rogers Wireless. i had a $5000 phone bill in one moth just from watching youtube videos

if you updated to 1.1.2 at any point you need to use anysimu not anysim1.1
