UK Iphone Use any 02 Sim

Hello,
I have a new 1.1.2 OTB UK iphone with 4.6 bootloader.
I have been looking through this forum and have found many tutorials showing how you jailbreak and bypass activation but i don't know if that lets you use ANY O2 sim card as i have heard of a lockdown patch..?
I understood the 1.1.1 unlocking process but this 1.1.2 process is just confusing.

it worked for my uK O2 IPHONE now i have a o2 pay as u go in it. hope it helps

Yes you can do it. I am using a non iPhone contract 02 sim without issue. And BTW it is fantastic....
