They backspace key shows a space on the screen but it is actually deleting a character, just try and be more careful when typing :)Quote:
I have followed your instructions and have gotten the output that you stated. However the "Invalid calibration data in device tree" issue during the EEPROM read procedure still persists. After the DFU restore to 1.1.4 the settings show "No Wi-Fi" and Bluetooth is unavailable.
Did you manage to get rid of the "Invalid calibration data in device tree" issue using this method? Or did the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simply come alive after you completed the procedure?
To those who have root access problems with the Mobile Terminal application:
The current release of iPlus 2.0b comes with a payload that includes a release of Term-VT100 and BSD Subsystem 2.1. Using iPlus to do the Jailbreak and activation will ensure you have a Terminal that can provide root access. Alternatively you can use iLiberty+ to activate and Jailbreak by copying the Terminal and BSD payloads to the iLiberty+ payloads folder. You must be logged on as a root user if not you will not be able to carry out chmod commands properly. However the Terminal client has the backspace issue that registers a space every time you tap the backspace key.
