Forget about pntedit. Try "PhoneNumber Dynamic Library". The latest PhoneNumberTemplates.txt file already contains templates for the countries you mentioned.

Done, and thanks! Is there an easy way to test if it is working?
One thing - if I touch my home phone number into the iphone keypad as I would normally dial it from my local area (47******) I don't see "Home" show up below my number however if I add the STD code (0747******) it shows "Home"
Any thoughts?
Cheers!
Yes. Put the "Framework" binary on your iPhone (in /usr/bin for example) and run "Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number xxx au" (where xxx is a phone number) on your iPhone to check if the phone number gets decomposed correctly.
You probably need to apply the Keypad and Area Code patch.
EDIT: Fixed typo. Replaced Put the "AppSupport" binary ... with Put the "Framework" binary ...
Tim,
Thanks for your help, I have added the "Framework: binary to the /usr/bin folder however I am not sure what you mean by "run "Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number xxx au" (where xxx is a phone number) on your iPhone"
Am I missing something, I guess I should have something additional installed on my iPhone allowing me to run that?
Thanks for your continued help!

locklin, do you mind send me that same PM? Using tim's latest build i was able to successfully get everything working right. Now I just want my address book and number formats to follow this template +1(809)555-5555 and not +18095555555.
I know this is purely esthetics but still.
I could use the same PM, but i want them to be displayed (xx) XX XXXX. Thank you.
I'm in Canada I read on the iphone dev wiki that it's supported and formats numbers the same as US so I didn't need to do anything:) :)
