Perhaps I need to edit the number format then? I still have the US with ( ) etc?
hello all
i am not great in using comps.I can ssh and stuff but can you tell me i have tried all the files but just clicking and downloading them from the link and transferring it to the iphone.at times i changed the .tar to .framework as well but did not ge the results.
can you please let me know how to fix it
land line numbers are saved as 022 xxxxxxxx
and mobile numbers as XXXXXXXXXX
so one is 11 digits and one is 10 digits
thanks
unzip the tar.gz file using winrar then the file you want is inside you will find AppSupport file
put in /System/Library/Frameworks/AppSupport.framework/
I tried restarting the phone and then - it worked?! Thanks for your time - appreciate it.
works perfectly for me in the UK.. i used the 9 digit one..
07XXX XXX XXX are mobiles in the UK
01XXX XXX XXX are some land lines
02X XXXX XXXX are some other landlines, so i thought 9 would be the best, as it matches everything but the 2 char starting string for numbers...
the only time it won't work would be if it is something like
mobile - 07944 123456
landline - 01944 123456
which i think would be very very rare...

Marky - use the 10 digit one then. That's the technically correct thing to do, since UK numbers are only guaranteed unique for 10 digits.
I have the 10 digit version running on my iPhone in the UK and it works correctly.
