Sounds like a great fix BUT alas here in Thailand our numbers are 9 digits 10 if you count the 0 in front of the number, so if anyone can come up with a fix we would all be very happy too.

I can say that 2.0 is id'ing calls/sms fine in Movistar-Nicaragua (not the case when on 1.1.4).
However, the sms timestamp is still causing problems as incoming sms's are stamped 5 hours in the past!
An update would be great, because I am kinda afraid to upgrade to 2.0 without knowing whether my numbers will work here in Costa Rica.
I updated manually my PhoneNumberTemplates.plist file, and it recognizes numbers when people call me, but when i send a SMS it stores as, for example "John", and then if he replies, it gets stored as a new conversation. So i have 2 Johns, and not just 1. Does anyone have any idea on why this is happening?
