Problem with Terminal during virginize procedure

Hello guys. I need some advice. I am following this procedure to virginnize my iPhone:

When I open terminal I should get the following:

Instead I get this:

Furthermore when I enter the password (dottie) I should get this: #

Whereas I get: -sh-3.2#

and I can't type in the line cd /usr/bin or I get kicked out.

Can anyone help please?

You may have two diffrent version of ssh installed.
you have to remove any ssh app from the iPhone, reinstall BSD subsistem and install ssh from indipendence.

Thanks for answering me. As a matter of fact I just installed OPEN SSH (it was one of the requirements of the guide I'm following) because I got that error before. And before installing Open SSH I had installed the SSH from Independence.... so my guess is I have to get rid of those and leave the others?

-Go in installer.app in the iPhone, and be sure that no ssh app is installed.
-Using indipendece re-remove ssh.
-Reinstall BSD subsystem from installer.app
-Reinstall ssh ONLY from indipendence.

I had exactly the same problem. I couldn't get access via Terminal to my Phone. I got the same sh-3.2. I solved the problem.

I restored my phone to 1.0.2 and installed SSH via iNdependence 1.2.5. I was able to connect via CyberDuck so FTP was working fine. Nevertheless Terminal was still not working. Again, restored to 1.0.2, I activated with iNdependence, installed Apptap and restarted my phone.
Now using wifi connection and installer.app I installed Community Sources, DNS Tools, BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH. Now I was able to get FTP and SSH connection with no problems at all. After virginizer I recommend that you restore again to 1.0.2 and then continue to install 1.1.1. Because if you don't do that Im sure you will have BIG problems with installer.app.

You don't need to restore 1.0.2....
you simply need to reinstall BSD... and ssh from indipendence...
restore 1.0.2 after verginize only if you want to be more sure....

for me worked without restore

I did that. And sadly it's still not working..

I'll try with Open SSH this time.

Yeah! It finally worked. I had to get rid of Independence SSH and use Open SSH instead.

Another question.... I virginize my iPhone and would like to restore to 1.0.2 to get a clean phone before upgrading to 1.1.1

The problem is that iTunes asks me to Restore AND Update now... and not only to Restore. How can I do just a restore of 1.0.2?
