Please any help would be very appreciated...

So I have had my iphone unlocked for weeks and then yesterday someone called and the phone began vibrating and wouldn't stop even after I answered. I turned off the phone and turned it back on only to be greeted with, "Repair Needed iphone cannot make or receive calls."

The iphone was version 1.02 so I tried updating to 1.11 to see if that would help. While it was restoring and updating to 1.11 I got an error and now the phone is always at the same screen with a picture of a power cord and a cd?

Every time I try to restore now I get a 1101 error. I have tried holding downt the alt key on my mac and trying to restore with a 1.02 verion but I always get the 1101 error and the picture of the power cord.

Any help would be really appreciated.

P.S. When I tried apptapp (dosent work at the end though I get a bootloader error) it actually reboots to the main iphone screen with the emergency dial option but when I enter the dial code *#numbers* everything is blank like IMEI, VERSION, etc...

You probably don't want to update to 1.1.1 at this time until you solve your problem with 1.0.2. Try revirginizing to 1.0.2 and unlock and see if things return to normal. I would stay on 1.0.2 at least a few days before considering updating again to 1.1.1. Just my opinion though.

Thank you for your opinion.

I think though that I am stuck between 1.02 an 1.11.

I've tried virginizing but i keep getting the 1011 error. The phone always reverts back to the picture of the power cord and cd?

downgrade baseband to ICE03.14.08_G.eep -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls then restore 1.02 use shift/restore procedure then revirginise
