My H/W unlock attempt and result need help.

Started folowed the guid on iunlock.no, but foolishly didnt install moblile terminal.

after running ienew, my wifi disconnected(i think cus of my shitty router) and PuTTY disconnected.

couldnt access wifi anymore and nothing i could do. was getting on iphone "need repair can't make calls". so couldnt dial anything.

1) i restored to 1.1.1 in i Tunes, still the same "repair needed: can't make calls"
2) Geohot posted the thread about going to 1.0.2 and work from there so using i brickr i restored to 1.0.2, and now im stuck here with 1.0.2. i can fully access it with ibrickr, but its not jailbroken and i can't dial any numbers because "repair needed" message is still on my screen.

what i want to do, is jailbreak so i can use mobile terminal to continue the BL downgrade process and testpoint again.

i know there is a way to jailbreak 1.0.2 without using wifi but from my understanding need a mac which i dont have. i tried searching for how to manually jailbreak(is that even possible in my case?) but getting so many unrelated results all the time. PLS help. what can i do?

use apptappinstall then pacay, cur done

how do i apptapp when i dont have a baseband... ie no wifi or dialing

Noob-question: How exactly do I install Mobile Terminal, so that the No-WiFi-issue isn't an issue? Thanx in advance!!

Where and what exactly is the name?

I found out, that

1st I had to install the Community Sources, then
2nd the BSD-package.

So now it is at least possible to use the vt100-Terminal, which was easy to find via the installer.app... I guess this one substitutes the MobileTerminal well!?

But again, where is the MT?

forgot the source look in all packages... or just get it from ibrickr its right there

I'm sorry it's not listed in "all packages", at least it's name is neither "MobileTerminal" nor "Terminal". And how do I get it from ibrickr? It's not in the directory "ibrickr_v.91"... And if it was there how do I put it on the iPhones Applications folder with windows?

dude if ur planning to attempt HW unlock and u dont know what ibrkr is is uggest u dont, but thats just me...

do this: go on native software page of this forum, sources sticky, add the source that automatically adds all sources to ur installer, install the package it gives u for all sources, refresh. then ull have terminal in ur all packages for sure( and every other single app in existence for that matter...
