merging calls on uk iPhone

hi

I have a uk iPhone hacked and using o2 simplicity

I have a problem, it will not let merge calls. When I try to merge 2 calls it looks as if its going to work for a split second but then just puts one call on hold

Anyone else having the same problems or know how to fix this?

Anyone got an answer on this as its doing my head in ?!?!?

as far as i'm aware you'd need to have conference calling activated to get it to work
