ill keep this simple and short for quick answers and guides
i have iPhone
it was unlocked already when i bought it and its a version 1.02 and it said " inncorect Sim "
i ( for some reason ) restored to 1.1.1
now i get a " incorrect Sim "
what do i need to do first ?
is the IMEI wrong in the phone?
if it is you need to downgrade then virginise then you can upgrade again.
if the IMEI is ok then you just need to activate it with lockdownd instead of what i assume was iAsign.
you ave really said what step your at or what the full status of the phone is so its hard to say..
IME ? how do i find out what status my phone is or what i need to do first, what info from the phone do you need
go to
settings-> General-> About-> scroll down
did you virginize it first? do you know what unlock method was used to unlock the 1.02 firmware???
in case you dont know or if was unlocked with iunlock or older anysim versions (prior to anysim 1.1) then you have to make a long process called "virginize" that will allow to properly update your iphone to 1.1.1... probably thats why is not working...
check your imei in settings > general > about (with the imei on the back of your iphone) if the phone on the back dont match the imei on the screen you have to virginize...
