Jailbreak your iPhone ONLY with jailbreakme.com

Guys, ALL the other sites do not do the jailbreak correctly. I guarantee that to you, so if you have 1.1.1 and want to upgrade to 1.1.2 do the jailbreak only with jailbreakme.com in my experience i had problems with OKTOPREP not being recognized if done with other sites.

Yes, I can confirm it.
I'm downgraded to 1.1.1 and crashed Safari with jailbreak.toc2rta.com and installd then the installer with Jailbreakme.com. After this a had always the the 300 MB Bug and could only fix it by restore the phone. Update with Oktoprep results in an Boot Loop

Well, i would confirm that if, and i say IF, jbm.com would work. :( Have an OOB 1.1.2 here, restored to 1.1.1. When i visit the page, Safari crashes as its supposed to, but then i'm stuck at the activation screen. No Reboot. I tried it several times, any suggestions? Thanks!

Not true! First, IF U NEED u can fix 300mb issue without restore,search. Second when i was updating from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 i used first jailbreakme.toc2rta.com then jailbreakme.com and it worked that way, yes u end up with 300mb issue but after update to 1.1.2 issue is gone.

you said it, you used jailbreakme.com :D otherwise when you jailbreak 1.1.2 it will keep sayin please install oktoprep even if you have already installed! ;)

I tried both, connected and disconnected to my Mac, it doesn't make any difference. I'm going to try at my university's wireless now - hope that will work.

and then why keep people confirming that jailbreaking iPhones with 1.1.2 and OktoPrep installed WITH jailbreak 1.1.2 DOES actually work? where is the difference between if it works and if it does not, like in your case?

and how will I be able to go to jailbreakme.com on an updated 1.1.2 phone when the phone isnt yet jailbroken? I always thought the trick with calling your own phone and then adding the prefsURL and the jailbreakme.comURL only work on a 1.1.1 phone?

I did it using Oktoprep then jailbreak.jar
worked like a charm

if you jailbreakme.com the iphone before upgrading to 1.1.2 it is OK, if you use other methods it will risult in: please install oktoprep (when using the jailbreak for 1.1.2 file)
