ISPF and revirginizing

Hi!

I'm planning to upgrade my phone to 1.1.1. I'm one of the persons who bought the ispf hack but then used anysim because i got tired of waiting. Now when i'm virginizing my phone i did the ispf step, and i figured i could use my until now unused ispf license so i didnt' change dns.

When i ran it said unlock successful. does that mean i don't have to fix the seczone thing? is that only if oyu don't have ispf license? btw http://129.21.116.152:49973/seczones...2301203123.bin isn't working for me (with my own imei...).

Please ansswer soon cause i'm in the middle of upgrading :P

Did you use AnySIm 1.1 or 1.0.2 ?

i used the first one so it was likely 1.0.2. Is there anyway to see if my seczone is fine or not btw?

This is the most retarded thing I have ever seen. You basically had your phone unlocked using anySIM 1.0.2 then you when doing the virginizing you used IPSF like normal. Why don't you guys READ and FOLLOW the steps accurately!!

Let me spell it out to you, you just lost you RSA token because of that dumb act. The point of using IPSF in the virginizing process was not to unlock your phone but to let it pull out the seczone and send it to the geo server. That's all.

okey, no need to be unpolite, so what can i do about this then?

It's Pointless...
You don't need to have a way to know if your nvram is corrupted! It is !
So you can use the virginizer now...you don't have the choice.
then, you'll be able to upgrade and desimlock correctly with AnySim1.1.

hm, what do you mean? can i still virginize by using the guide or do i have to do something else? or is it hopeless now? my phone still works so it's not a big problem but it would be nice to be able to upgrade.

You will need to redo step one in the virginizing process (reflashing the baseband), then setup your DNS properly, and proceed. I am not sure if the geo server is still running or not though (he said he will take it down on Monday). So check the virginizing thread and make sure that the other guys are able to get the bins from there.
