The last months I've been trying to upgrade my iphone with 1.0.2 to a higher version, but with no succes.. I tried upgrading it with iBrickr & terminal but that didn't work..
My iPhone:
Firmware: 1.0.2
Baseband: 04.01.13_G
Unlock method: AnySim
The problem is as you might allready have seen is that I don't have the correct baseband version.. Do I have to downgrade my Baseband or are there any other ways?

The person from who I bought my phone downgraded the version from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 and I unlocked it with AnySim. Is it true what dtube says that my seczone isn't corrupted? Or should I still virginize my phone?

Every try to restore to 1.0.2 again finshed with different error.

Then I have again used iBrickr to kick it to recovery mode and have used itunes 8.1.1 to upgrade to 2.2.
Worked!!!
It seams that best tool for 2G to kick it to recovery mode is iBrickr because it was written specially for 2G.
Then I have used QuickPwn 2.2.5 and it worked.
If you have iphone 2G just be patient with quickpwn because it take some time to finish.

everything works perfectly but the iphone is showing the mac apple logo. and no change yet 1 hour ago.
have you any clue about this.
