[iLiberty] Legit at&t plan already activated

I downloaded iLiberty+. Looks very cool. However, I want to be absolutely sure I am doing the right thing before I "Go For It!" Here's the question - I have AT&T and want to continue to use AT&T in the U.S. But, when I go to Europe, I want to be able to use my SIM cards from there in my iPhone. So, on the Standard screen, do I just want Jailbreak, You Tube Fix, Unlock, Downgrade bootloader..., and Cydia? If I don't do "Activate," will I still be activated with AT&T after doing everything EXCEPT Activate?
I hope it's a "simple" question! Thanks for any replies!

if you are allready activated with AT&T from the standard screen all you have to select is Jailbreak and from the advance tab you need to select installer, BootNeuter and BSD subsystem

after that open Boot Neuter and unlock you phone with that application

Thanks, jsalva. Before I do it, I keep reading references to restoring 1.1.4 through iTunes first. I have 1.1.4, up to date. Do I need to do an iTunes restore before doing the Jailbreak, installer, BootNeuter and BSD subsystem?

depeneds if you were jailbroken before then yes restore however of its fresh otb phone or a phone that has never been jailbroken then you can just run ilberty and be ok, howvere i suggest restoring just to be safe also make sure you have what you want checked off like installer and or cydia

Thanks, )law(. The phone is a couple of weeks old, activated day of purchase with AT&T, so I will just do the jailbreak, etc. Are you suggested restore BEFORE or AFTER the jailbreak? I will do what jsalva suggested, i.e., run BootNeuter after jailbreaking to unlock. So, run restore AFTER I do everything? Sorry to be such a noob!

restore before jail break, as having a clean phone is best. But i am confused about one thing tho, do you just want to jailbreak or jailbreak and unlock?

)law(, I want to be able to use the phone with AT&T here, and be able to pop in another SIM when I am in Europe. So, I need jailbreak and unlock. jsalva suggested doing Jailbreak, BootNeuter and the BSD subsytem first, and then do the unlock later using BootNeuter.

either way is fine but i would rather get it all in one shot and then use bootnueter later to go back to 4.6bl that way you wont have to do so much

You have to factory activate if you want to use ANY OTHER SIM!

If you let iTunes activate your phone it will NOT work with a different SIM even if it is unlocked.

So you have to click on "Activate" when you jailbreak as well.

If you don't believe me then try it yourself with any other SIM.

OK, so that I don't screw anything up, let me ask these questions:

1) I should restore through iTunes BEFORE Jailbreaking? Does restoring change anything on the phone (settings, photos, etc.)?

2) If I factory activate, so that I can use AT&T and any other carrier's SIM card, will AT&T work right after doing the Jailbreak, Activate, Unlock, etc., or is there something else that needs to be done for AT&T to work?

3) If the fake bootloader works, why is using BootNeuter to back to 4.6 necessary?

4) If I screw something up, does restoring through iTunes usually fix it?
