I used Unlock after anySIM 1.0.1 failed... will my iPhone be OK?

Hi guys!
I was one of the unfortunate ones who tried anySIM 1.0.1 (from what I understand, very few had success before 1.0.2). It gave me an error that the firmware succeeded but the unlocking failed, and when I tried a second time it told me it could not find the bytes to patch. So I restored the phone and followed the instructions at modmyiphone.com. This worked and now my phone is working fine on Orange France. However, I'm bothered by the failed anySIM attempt and hoping it didn't do any permanent damage or have any residual effects that will become obvious when I apply future updates/unlocks. Anyone know? (BTW, my iPhone was legitimately AT&T activated before I unlocked it.)
