General questions to firmware 1.1.1

Hi,

I've received my new iPhone with firmware 1.1.1 from the US this morning.

I know that it's at the moment NOT possible to unlock a brand new iphone with 1.1.1 as the default firmware.

But: Is it possible to downgrade the firmware to 1.0.2 and the baseband to the old one and THEN unlock the iphone on the normal "old" way?

Is it correct that I can use any SIM-Card with FW 1.1.1 when I've got a TurboSIM (e.g. from ebay)? Or is the TurboSIM just working with an iPhone 1.0.2?

If you accept to downgarde V1.1.1 to V1.02, can use turbosim or hyper card. both can be found on ebay.com

Thanks... so everything is working when I'm downgrading my 1.1.1 to 1.02 and put my normal european SIM-Card into the TurboSIM?

Is it ture that I've got one problem more? ACTIVATION? <- do I need to activate my iphone through itunes?

Caution: the TurboSIM isn't always the best solution if you didn't set it up yourself. They break easily, sometimes you can't see it from the outside. Also sometimes, if the Applesaft, etc. stuff hasn't been done right, the TurboSIM may not work with your SIM card or at least create problems.

My experience with a TurboSIM (I set it up myself) is good but not the best. Sometimes, especially when roaming outside my country, SMS didn't work reliable.
It also took some time to take care of a contact problem inside the SIM card reader, apparently there was a contact problem with my SIM and the TurboSIM.
My experience with AnySIM is much better, everything works perfect but of course AnySIM won't work with the FW 1.1.1.

If you want a clean and functioning unlock! Then just wait a bit till the 1.1.1 unlock is out.

Unless you just cant wait SUPERsim or TurboSIm is a good way but not clean and will require some troubleshooting at times.

order it direct at bladox http://www.bladox.com/ it is 59 euro plus shippment then. the one at ebay is way to expensive. i ordered a 5-pack a week ago with the slow delivery-option (20 euro), it showed up two days ago. they are sealed and really working

Aber, (now back english...) I've read on ebay that the TurboSIMs which "unlock" the iphone *successfully* are sold out... are they out of production oder just a little production/shipping delay?

I hope you bought the right ones (are there more than one revisions/versions of TurboSIM?)
