Bricked my phone with 1.1.4 update (ziphone)

I had a clean out of the box 1.1.3 (itunes 7)

downloaded ziphone. Then I made the mistake of clicking on
restore in itunes after which I think my iphone downloaded version
1.1.4 (I'm not sure)
So I restored it to factory settings.
-Sleep/back keys to put into recover mode
-opened ZiPhone box and clicked the three boxes
-started
-waited 2.5 minutes and watched the data scroll in B + W on iphone
screen

The iphone then rebooted and came up with the Emergency calls only/
cable/itunes screen. ( Slide for Emergency)
I can't do anything !!

I did the whole procedure with the original AT and T card. Then put in my Tmobile card, I can make and receive calls. But that's all. :mad:

How can i solve this? PLEASE help.

ZiPhone may work on 1.1.4, but activation does not.

Now NOTHING works :-) Slide for Emergency is all it sais.
I would like to get back to 1.1.3 but i cannot do anything!?!?

Please help!!

depending on your bootloader you can do, if it is 4.6 you can find tutorials here how to dongrade and gunlock it and unclock it, if you are on 3.9 bl you there is someone who extracted the seckpack and should ask him to give it to you so you can delete your baseband.

This is not a brick. This is the same screen for an OTB 1.1.3 16GB UK iPhone. Restore it to 1.1.3 then ziphone

Ok but how to restore it? itunes doesnt recognise the phone, and the phone only sais "slide for emergency"

Put in DFU Mode.

ok... first of all, your phone is not a brick... not yet anyway :D. put it on dfu mode (you can use ziphone to do that), restore to 1.1.3 and run ziphone again (with itunes running).

It is amazing what a little bit of preliminary reading would do for people.

I am not against asking questions, I have certainly asked a lot here. But I believe that one should do a minimum of 2 hours of reading of this site before doing ANYTHING. That way you would at least avoid the basic mistakes.

It amazes me that people can press the wrong button on itunes and not notice it downloading over 160Mg of data they must be on very fast internet links
