Brand new Iphone..

Hi all... (new to forum)

Ive been reading alot of threads and posts about unlocking iphones and too many different methods and seems like theres alot of 1s that have problems!

Im going to buy an iphone next week and id like to unlock it so i can use my orange sim card init....

can some1 give me a clear answer or a link to a tutorial about how to bypass the activation AND how to unlock it... the BEST way that has worked fine for YOU.. :)

im a tad confused what version it comes at brand new and wat version itunes i need and all that shite lol ive neva unlocked a phone before but im good with computers!

iplus/iLiberty is best for iphone. Easy to use for beginner too.

im reading this tutorial and it says "Before following these instructions you should have already restored your iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes." how do i do that with a brand new iphone or is that the version it comes as new? if not do i have to activate it with itunes then download this version...

If you're getting a new phone from the Apple Store the firmware version will most likely be 1.1.4

I suggest reading the tutorials on this site, iClarified and also hackthatphone. They're easy to follow

it doesnt mention anythin about havent any sim card inserted in the iphone... should you not have a sim card in the iphone during unlocking?

it dosnt really matter but i would put the sim i want to use in first before running it
