Bought an iphone 8gb the 20th of septembrer, version?

Hello i had a friend in the states buy me an iphone the 20th of september. Is it the new firmware 1.1.1 or will it have the 1.0.2.
any ideas what could it be???

u can ask him for the serial number at the box, maybe u can deduce the version from the serial number

Most likely a 1.0.x not 1.1.1 because i live near boston and i went to apple stores today and they only have week 38's.
