If I Neuter my Bootloader, will that then give me the ability to run my iPhone without the need to run Signal.app on each boot?
If it doesnt, then what are the advantages of having an BL3.9IPSF that is Neutered?

Yes ! .
Re-unlock it with AnySim method...
I've ran AnySim on my IPSF unlocked phone and now I don't need to run Signal.app everytime I reboot.
If thats what has to be done to get rid of Signal.app, I'd rather use Signal.app :P
I WOULD NOT USE SIGNAL.APP AND A NEUTERED/UNLOCKED with BootNeuter as it may PERMANENTLY LOCK YOUR PHONE.
I am not 100% certain and would like it clarified but Signal.app sends a signal to the baseband that if it is unlocked any other way will cause the phone to permanently lock.
Without signal.app (and any startup scripts to do the same thing) then its not an issue as that signal to the baseband won't be sent but if you use BootNeuter without removing signal.app and the scripts it uses it could cause that permanent lock.
I am happy to be corrected if I am wrong. But if I decided to use BN on my IPSF phone I would restore using pwnage and NOT put signal.app back on.
All Signal.app does is sends a command to the baseband to close commcentre, kick the unlock status of IPSF and then load commcentre so it sees the unlocked status of the iPhone.
If it is unlocked via IPSF the Neutering does not affect it at all.
Was told all this through the IRC channel by some of the pretty top guys there.
restore the phone, neuter it and then select unlock in boootneuter. no more signal.app required, no phone locking or w/e. works perfectly.
As I said, if the only way of getting rid of Signal.app is changing the baseband then I'd prefer to use Signal.app.
Thanks for the help anyways guys.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the whole Signal.app on non ipsf done with now that we have BootNeuter. Doesn't bootneuter reflash baseband and bootloader if we make a mistake because I know it reflashes bootloader 3.8 which was permanent unlock.
