AppTAPP error message = download failed . resolving hostname.

Hi,

I am unlocking iphone with the instruction listed by Carlos

I am step no.7 , I am getting error message ( download failed : resolving host name ) when I am running AppTAPPIstaller.exe after selecting proper firmware i.e. 1.0.2. I followed all the steps from begining to step 6. I purchased Iphone yesterday. firmware is showing 03.14.08_G i.e. 1.0.1 or 1.0.2.

I dont know where i am going wrong ?? I have windows XP installed in my software..

Please help me to sort it out..

I just bought an iPhone today while dropping off my iMac for a minor repair... and now I'm working to unlock it... however I've been stymied while trying to install OpenSSH. It seems the server is down. :(

So you might be hitting a wall again soon :(

you need to do the manual restore in iTunes hold shift and select the 1.0.2 fw. Then continue with the steps on my guide.
