2 questions

Hello all and greetings from argentina...

I've been reading a lot and after buying 2 iphones
I've successfully {EDIT activated/jailbreak} an 1.1.2 OTB (week 47)
now I'm stuck with an overpiced ipod...
Anyway, the tutorial was excellent and the whole process didn't take me more than 5m...


I have some questions:
1-can I downgrade to 1.1.1 and use anysim so I can
use the iphone like.. a phone?

2-I have another iphone, week 52. it's in a sealed box and
I won't open it so I can sell it.
I'like to know if week 52 can be 1.1.3 or it will be 1.1.2.

you jailbroke your phone don't confuse activation/jailbreak with unlock

you said you unlocked in 5m ? you probably jailbreaked it, as you stated you had a overpriced ipod :)

No, both your phones are 1.1.2-otb and have bootloader-4.6, therefore you CAN'T software unlock... (all week>=45 are otb-1.1.2 with bl-4.6 at the moment)

You can buy a x-sim solution like www.iphonesimfreer.com or use the hardware unlock method (you will need to open your iphone), or you can wait for a future software unlock.

yes i just jailbreaked it, sorry about wrong terms.

i wont buy a turbo/stealth/what ever sim solution because i refuse to pay u$s200 extra and i wont h/w unlock it because i'm afraid of breaking it.

I guess i can only wait huh?
