[1.1.4 ziphone unlocking] Is 'lockdown' required when unlocking with Ziphone

Hi I've been unlocking US 1.1.4. OTB iPhones with Ziphone 2.5C

After unlocking, I've been using WinSPC to change the lockdown file to "lockdown.back" and putting in the other lockdown file (the one where you set permission to 0755 --it's from 1.1.1 unlock instructions)....

Anyway, my question is --is this required in order to hot swap sims? Or does ziphone already 'enable' hot swapping?

lockdownd has nothing to do with SIM-unlock, only with activation and youtube. So if you can see the springboard you already use a (h)activated lockdownd.
