[1.1.4] Upgrading to 2.0 on First Gen iPhone in Windows

i downloaded WinPWN 2.0 from here :

followed the instructions but when it comes to the Restore there should be a file in "Custom Filewares" as instructed but there isnt after i extract it?

anyone know why, or of an easier way?

What you got is WinPwn 1.0.0.3 RC1 which only pwnes 1.1.4

if u wanna get 2.0 u need to get the 2.0 firmware pwned from a torrent and then pwn ur phone using winpwn and upgrade
u cannot at this time create ur own custome fw

BTW iCliarified says the same as above that winpwn 2.0 is COMING SOON not OUT NOW

actualy you dont need to pwn you phone, the exploit found on 2.0 will allow you to restore a custom FW created with PWNAGE tool 2.0 (MAC version since windows version is not out yet) an a regular phone there is no need to pwn your phone first, just update itunes to 7.7 and restore with the cust FW.

Already tested this on 5 phones jailbroken with iliberty on 1.1.4 :)

I think i provided the wrong link, ive downloaded something that claimed it was for 2.0
unless im mistaken.

Well im on Windows Vista & My iPhone is not Registered.

well you have 3 options:

1. you can get a hold of a friend's mac and create your own custom firmware with PWNAGE tool 2.0 then come back to your PC and update to itunes 7.7 put your iphone on DFU mode and restore using your custom FW, you will end up with an 2.0 unlocked, jailbroken and activated iphone.

2. you can download a custom FW via torrent update to itunes 7.7 and put your iphone on DFU mode and restore using your custom FW, you will end up with an 2.0 unlocked, jailbroken and activated iphone.

Restored my phone using that, and its just restored it and now telling me i need to register my phone, so im going to have to Jailbreak it again back to 1.1.4

any idea why?
